While no real expert on anything, I am quite the enthusiest of all things relating to nature. Growing up surrounded by the Shawnee National Forest, I loved camping, hiking, fishing, and other activities in nature growing up.

I've always had a bit of an odd fasination with snakes (and sharks when I was a kid), and some animals from my home area have a special place in my heart--no matter how many deer I've accidentally hit with my car (sadly, it's been two at this point...).
