As long as I can remember I have been fascinated by nature. As a child I explored nesting birds, pollywogs becoming frogs and the miracle of caterpillars metamorphosizing into butterflies. I climbed high into the tops of pine trees, picked and ate tiny wild strawberries in the summer and held buzzing bees in my hands until one stung me. Lately (2024), I have been discovering a whole new realm of nature, native bees!
