Birds and other wildlife are my first loves, but I'm interested in just about every form of life that can be found on this spectacular planet. I currently work as a forestry technician for Boulder County Parks and Open Space in Colorado and much of my observations are related to trees and associated parasites and pathogens, such as dwarf mistletoe and white pine blister rust. We are currently monitoring the health of limber pines in Boulder County, particularly in relation to the spread of white pine blister rust.
