I have an intense interest in Brachyceran flies, and can mostly ID them to family at least. I have some experience in Calyptrate flies, but my main areas of expertise are worldwide Mydidae, and North American Chrysopilus (I am currently top of the leaderboard for both). I am hoping to someday get to know Asilidae and Syrphidae much better. @myelaphus and @trinaroberts have been a huge help in my past bit of work with these families. I also want to thank @edanko for getting me started in Mydidae and helping me out quite a lot along the way!

I often take way more pictures of the specimens that I post than the pics I attach. I always try to include the best photos that show different angles, but please reach out if you need other angles and I will happily add them if I have them.
