I studied mycology at Oregon State University and the University of Wyoming. My current interest include fungal taxonomy and ecology, especially for western North America. I enjoy collecting/documenting fungi whenever possible. I have participated in Mushroom Observer for many years, and I’ve enjoyed learning from and collaborating with mycologists throughout the world. In addition to MO, I contribute to the Northern Utah Funga project on iNaturalist, and I try to join other projects whenever possible. I am currently a board member of the Mushroom Society of Utah as well as a member of the Cascade Mycological Society.
