I am a nature geek and always have been. I figure being a naturalist is one of only a few careers that you can actually have for your whole life!

I am the Interpretive Biologist and Education Coordinator for the University of Guelph Arboretum where I teach all ages about nature and I am an adjunct professor in the College of Biological Science. I teach different public workshops including virtual programs on bird identification and bird song identification: https://arboretum.uoguelph.ca/educationandevents/workshops

I have written many field guides and nature books on birds, bird feeding, dragonflies, frogs, caterpillars and nature hotspots for Firefly Books Ltd - please go to: https://www.fireflybooks.com/index.php?option=com_mijoshop&route=product/search&search=earley

I am also the author of the American Birding Association's Field Guide to the Birds of Ontario. https://www.aba.org/store/american-birding-association-field-guide-to-birds-of-ontario/

I lead nature tours to places such as Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Brazil, Baja California, Galapagos and the Arctic. To see photos from my trips, please go to: https://www.flickr.com/photos/127945801@N07/albums
