My research focuses on how novel changes within agroecosystems alter arthropod driven ecosystem services and trophic interactions. I am particularly interested in the impacts of invasive species, agricultural management practices, and how landscape context can alter these interactions.

My current work is on the invasion of Kentucky by imported fire ants, with an emphasis on understanding the behavioral and physiological mechanisms facilitating their recent range expansion as well as their inevitable ecological effects on arthropod communities.
