I'm a lab technician and aquatic ecologist at Texas State University specializing in benthic macroinvertebrates, aquatic macrophytes, water chemistry and nutrient cycling, spring-fed rivers, and ecosystem metabolism. While I work in aquatic systems, I also have a major appreciation for terrestrial plants and insects (Hemipterans in particular).

I appreciate the scientific aspect of iNaturalist, but I'm honestly primarily using this to help me catalogue, remember, and learn about local taxa. I would love to find some semblance of community in the Central Texas area that's also enthusiastic about plants and insects, so feel free to reach out to me!
