I am an artist, educator, and plant lover currently living in Jacksonville, and I'm here mostly to help contribute to data! I took a plant taxonomy class and we did our project with local plants, so I'm most familiar with local taxa.

It would mean a lot to me if you would join and help with the set of projects I have set up to track the organisms of Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park (Umbrella project here: https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/kathryn-abbey-hanna-park)! Most of all, it's helpful if you can ID species in the Unconfirmed Species of Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park project (https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/unconfirmed-species-of-kathryn-abbey-hanna-park), but IDs and observations in any of the projects are useful.

I'm a member of the Heart of Jacksonville African Violet Society and the Jacksonville Orchid Society, both of which I'd highly recommend to anyone who's interested in the relevant plants. It's been a while since I was able to make it to meetings since I've been very busy, but I'm hoping to get back into it before too long.
