Hi, my name is Otto and I’m a currently studying a a bachelor of science at the University of Tasmania. My main passion if Australian insects, in particular weevils (superfamily Curculionoidea). I spend most of my spare time dedicated to collecting and identify the understudied weevil fauna of Tasmania. I also volunteer at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG) insect collections, where I help maintain and photograph their large collection of Curculionids. I am also currently working on 2 papers relating to the review of several genera of weevil in Tasmania.
I also love helping identify Australian weevils. If you think I’ve miss- identified anything (which does happen) or want me to identify anything, just let me know :)
