I learned of iNaturalist from a local NPR interview with Shawn Hunter about The Diana Project. I only want to help anyone I can with learning about and understanding this world we live in. I am deeply rooted to the land of the Arkansas Ozarks. My family has worked, farmed, hunted, and depended on this land for near 200 years. We have not always done the best things for the land ,but have tried to do what we understood to be right. I worry about the world of tomorrow, but have a high hope in the long term future. I live and have lived most my life outside and think I can help, if not atleast I want to try. I have a small hill top farm in the Ozark-St. Francis NF, a 10,000 sq foot house garden, I keep the grounds of a local church and cemetery, and I am contracted to ANHC as steward of the Kings River Falls Natural Area. I have backpacked the Ozark Highlands trail, thur hiked the Ouachita trail, and hiked a few hundred miles in the Buffalo National River. If I am doing anything worng with my Observations or IDs let me know so I can fix it, the last time I used a computer or internet daily Windows 98 was new.
