I'm a gardener and amateur naturalist creating habitat on my very small property in a suburb of coastal Fairfield County, CT, with primarily native plants. My yard is a certified wildlife habitat and monarch waystation. Since 2017 when I started my garden, I've been watching, documenting, and learning about the wildlife in my little suburban oasis.

I usually photograph insects and birds in my garden but also like to catalog wildlife observed while hiking or out and about in other areas. I like to show that you don't have to go to vast wilderness areas to observe interesting species.

Most photos are shot with my Nikon D3300 but also with an older iPhone so quality may vary.
