I live mostly in Austin, Texas, but spend a lot of time at our family land in Austin County, Texas, which is actually way out in the rural area halfway between Austin and Houston. We grow food and have fruit trees on this land, but focus a lot on permaculture stewardship of the land as our primary driving concern. It seems these last ten years of letting nature do its thing has dramatically increased the bugs and animals we see out here.
