I am biologist with special skills in Myriapoda (worldwide), but also interested in a lot of other organism groups (mainly Central Europe). For several years I have worked at different museums (State Museum of Natural History Karlsruhe, Bavarian State Collection for Zoology (ZSM) and Museum Mensch und Natur (MMN), both in Munich). I have been worked as database curator at the ZSM and was resonsible for GBIF acitvities. I have published over 100 scientific papers, e.g. on DNA barcoding of myriapods, arachnids and isopods.
