While my path has been somewhat meandering, I have always had one focus: plants. I started out with big plants (i.e. trees) in third grade, shifted to vascular plants by the beginning of undergrad and then to liverworts by the end of undergrad. By the time I had completed my master's, I had expanded my interests to include all bryophytes and lichens. I work as an independent consultant doing botanical surveys in the field season and data analysis in the off-season. In my free time, I am on the boards of my regional botany (FloraQuebeca) and bryology (Societe Québécoise de la Bryologie) associations.
