I am a wildlife biologist with the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. I currently oversee Charles D. Kelley/Autauga wildlife management area and William R. Ireland/Cahaba River wildlife management area. I am have been avid outdoorsman from an early age. Growing up, I enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working with the land. I developed a love for birds and birding through spending time in the deer stand. This introduced me to a new world and further increased my passion for the outdoors. That passion is what inspired me to pursue a degree in wildlife biology. I also enjoy herping, plant collecting, hiking, and many other outdoor activities. I am also very passionate about habitat management/restoration, especially prescribed burning. To me, there is not much of anything better than running a fire through a longleaf pine stand and watching the smoke pillars rise!
