Focus: True bugs (Heteroptera) | Europe & Australia | Damsel bugs (Nabidae) & Broad-headed bugs (Alydidae)
I am a passionate naturalist, junior scientist and hobby heteropterist with a keen interest in everything living, currently Biology grad student at Frankfurt University and the Technical University of Darmstadt/Germany, focusing on Bioinformatics and Ecology. In my spare time I'm enthusiastic about naturalistic gardening and bushwalking with my camera. I'm fascinated by True bugs (Heteroptera) with a particular interest in the Nabidae (Damsel bugs) and the Alydidae (Broad-headed bugs) of the world and Australia's terrestrial bug fauna, of which I curate some groups for iNaturalist. I enjoy combing through iNat's backlog for interesting finds and species not added to iNat's taxonomy so far. Some highlights mostly from Australia are collected in my Treasures From the Backlog.
