Former IT manager recently retired. Not an expert. My Focus is on planting only native perennials, bushes and trees in order to attract wildlife on the few acres I live on. Over the last 10 + years I have purchased plants native to NJ and the northeast (the definition of native is changing) at places such as Bowmans Hill, NJ Audubon events, NJ Native Plant Society events, Toadshade, to further the cause. My property has a section of Chambers Brook running through it. I save labels, and diagram the location of everything should my information should be close, but any input from a true expert is appreciated.
