After a little over four years of studying chemical and process engineering I dropped out of engineering school to pursue my dream of becoming an entomologist and macrophotographer. Three months later, I found a 7-month work contract at BirdLife France (LPO), of which I am still part of their Youth Network, and then entered the University of Montpellier to study naturalist expertise (Licence EDEN). During that year, I inventoried the spiders of the Natura 2000 site "Gorges de la Vis et Cirque de Navacelles" and did a 4-month internship for the CNRS where I developed and tested a no-kill entomofauna protocol (INSECTA).
Now that I have graduated, I am, for the first time as a naturalist, exploring the wildlife outside of France.
After 3 months in San Diego, I've traveled to Costa Rica for about 3 weeks. Now back in France, I am looking for a job as a naturalist.
I am still learning everyday so my ID may be incorrect! If that's the case I appreciate feedback to help me avoid making the same mistake again!
I've often been asked about my camera set-up so I've made an article about it here : My current camera setup and what I would ideally use
