I am a bryologist and botanist for the Pennsylvania Natural Heritage Program and Western Pennsylvania Conservancy. My primary responsibility involves, managing biological inventory efforts for Pennsylvania. I rely on a great team field-oriented heritage biologists to identify and survey regions of ecological and biological significance throughout the state. The species distribution and ecological data we collect from these places forms the foundation of the Pennsylvania Conservation Explorer Environmental Review tool that is designed to inform the public on reasonable and necessary conservation measures required to protect Pennsylvania's biodiversity.

In general, I love being outdoors exploring the amazing diversity of habitats that surround us, and sharing those experiences with others.
