I'm an amateur botanist and naturalist most interested in the flora of Wisconsin. My current areas of study include bog plants, old growth northern forests, boreal remnants, native shrubs, mesic deciduous forests and prairies. I live in Madison, mostly botanizing within a 100 mile radius and also frequently visit Bayfield County. I also work on several restoration projects including a riverain mesic woodland and remnant drumlin prairie in Dane County and an oak savanna with bluff prairies in Iowa County.
