I'm an archaeologist at Mississippi State University, where I study the prehistoric people who lived in the Southeastern US. I specialize in the analysis of animal remains from archaeological sites, and I am also a PhD candidate in the Department of Geosciences at MSU, with a focus on Pleistocene extinctions in North America. I try to spend as much time as possible outdoors and am hoping to inspire a love of nature in my daughter as well.
