I am a co-op student at UBC's Faculty of Forestry in the Department of Forest Sciences. My focus is on ethnobiology, human connection to the land, and the impacts of declining salmon populations on coastal forest health. It's hard to go on short walks in the forest, there are too many things to fall in love with.

My photography is done using a mobile device. Currently I am using a Google Pixel 5 with a Moment brand case and set of lenses (58mm tele and 10x macro). The Moment macro lens provides 10x zoom which is enough, in some cases, to distinguish individual cells on bryophyte leaves!
