I am a generalist observer and student of the natural world. I concentrated in environmental studies at Hampshire College, where I was fortunate to learn from phenomenal mentors and a community of passionate students. Since I graduated in 2014, I have worked in mainly in education and trail building/maintenance.

For me, being a naturalist is less about the accumulation of scientific data than it is about the cultivation of a sense of wonder and a familiarization with the beautiful natural world we live in. Being a naturalist is stopping to notice the little things that most people take for granted or pass by without knowledge.
