Earned degree in chemistry from Oklahoma City University and graduate degree in organic chemistry from U of Oklahoma. Taught chemistry at Louisiana State U in Shreveport and Centenary College of LA. Research interests primarily chemecology of cardiac glycosides of milkweeds and monarchs. Avid naturalist after retirement.
