I'm a former staff member at UC Santa Barbara's National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis. I earned my Ph.D. in Information Science from the University of Arizona and have research interests in managing biodiversity data. Away from the computer screen, I enjoy travel, photography and being outdoors -- hobbies that help support my iNat fix. More recently, I've been fascinated with exploring the tidepools of Southern California.
