I am a photographer who has visited and photographed flowers and plants in many of the great gardens of the eastern coast of the United States and up and down the coast of California. But without necessarily identifying them. I put powerpoints together that included gardens, history of the area, history of the architecture in a specific region, and discussions of the geography. A presentation of our tours also included small ipad movies that chronicled historical maneuvers or costumes. I have put together a list of the many plants I have grown in my yard categorizing them by Family, Genus and Species. I have recorded the different types of tomatoes I grow in my raised beds and recorded the yield of each plant. I have only recently learned of iNaturalist and will try to hone my identification of my photographed objects.
