I'm forever a naturalist at heart, but an amateur in practice. My earliest memories are of walks in the woods with my father. I don't think I ever outgrew that sense of wonder - even at those times when a busy modern life pulled me far away from forested trails. In part, the works of John Muir rekindled my love of nature and that fire only seems to grow stronger with each passing season. I know of no happier place than on a trail among the pines.

Hopefully learning from your observations while sharing my own brings us each closer to nature and a love of all things wild.
