I've been a naturalist since I could crawl, maybe even before that. Instead of watching Happy Days reruns as a teen I was reading Walden and Ralph Waldo Emerson. Being in nature is attending church to me. And there are few things I enjoy quite as much as observing animals, plants, the wind and the water. I'm so glad to finally have a community and system to categorize and document my observations and learn about those gems that others have found and researched.
