An eighth-grade class working to contribute to their community by helping scientists identify mosquitoes and their breeding sites. We go around the Big Island capturing and identifying different species of mosquitoes and their larvae to help prevent another outbreak of mosquito-borne diseases. We also educate ourselves as well as our community on the dangers of mosquitoes.-VS
