Garden Journal April 2020

Wood pigeon was seen taking a branch into the neighbors' conifer.

Early April: Insects are getting more common, many flies in the sun on the Aucuba, and (bumble)bees in the flowers of the Cherry Laurel. Non-native shrubs are still better than no shrubs at all.

Lots of flowering Yellow Archangel, being visited by bumblebees.

Flowers everywhere!

Magpie visited the hanging basket on my windowsill.

Starling in the garden once, maybe because of apples I threw out? Starlings still sitting on their roof corner.

19th of April: Great tits bringing nesting material to the sparrow box underneath the balcony.
