Data Use Reminder!
Just a quick reminder.
I have just updated the local data holdings from this project and a couple of observations;
Records are often still licensed as 'CC-BY-NC' - Currently the position of the National Biodiversity Network (NBN) is that LERCs (e.g. Merseyside BioBank) are not allowed to use these observations in our normal work, such as data services for conservation via planning. If you would like to allow us to use your records please update your observation licence to 'CC-BY' or 'CC0'. This can be done from your profile settings, and can be done separately from the image license if that is a concern (message me if you need help).
Records are still being obscured - In the latest export over 6,300 observation locations were obscured. These included many significant and priority species such as Otter, Badger, Bats and various wading birds. It is sensible to obscure locations from general public access. However, please consider allowing us access to the full location to support local conservation efforts, we are unable to import or make use of obscured observations.
