Greetings everyone!

Thanks to all participants in the first five days of the Lincoln National Forest Spring 2021 BioBlitz. You all have already gathered over 100 Observations of 35 different species from a diverse set taxonomic groups. Excellent Job!

Keep up the good work this weekend and take advantage of the warm weather!

A BioBlitz creates a unique opportunity to get outside, enjoy, and learn about your local area. Oftentimes in life we forget to stop and smell the flowers, or in our case, photograph and identify them!

If you're looking for new places to explore and discover species on the Lincoln National Forest, visit the recreation page on our website (link below).

There you will find a list of all recreation sites on the forest and if they are open or not. Keep in mind most campground are still closed for the off season.

On the right hand column of the page you will find additional campground information , a list of lookout points, popular area maps, an interactive forest map, and a list of all trails on the forest by district.
