Revised by Guzmán in 2004, who moved the species from Hypholoma to Psilocybe. Note: there seem to be a lot of strange, very incorrect identifications from a few years back of Hypholoma naematoliforme on iNat. These have ranged widely from Coprinellus, to Polyporales, to insect galls. I have gone through and corrected them as best I can.
