Has a pale blue/green underside. Dorsal scales keeled I think. I couldn’t see the typical longitudinal stripes of Garters but didn’t seem to be any of the other suggestions except maybe Dekey’s
Blackish brown with subtle stripes of white and orange. At least a meter long and a couple centimeters in diameter. Stay off the road cute guy !
Maybe a King snake, not sure. Not a garter snake, at least I have never seen one with these colors.
Ring necked or red bellied?
Is it a RBS?? Please help the color is throwing me off
My boyfriend saw this snake and snapped me a picture. He said it was large and black. Heading into the water. There are only 10 native snake species in NH. Northern water snake or black racer?
