I have been a self-employed landscape gardener and student of botany for four decades, and almost that long a guide at Mount Pisgah Arboretum for school kids. I am very much a general naturalist and always have a Olympus TG camera in my pocket. I get to spend most days outside, year round, in all type of weather. B.S. in biology and graduate studies in botany at UO and OSU, am a participant in the Oregon Master Naturalist program.
