I am an associate professor of Biology at the University of Massachusetts Boston. There, I study the community ecology of kelp forests - locally and globally - as well as salt marshes. In a former life (my PhD) I worked in fouling communities, and gained a facility with tunicates. Basically, if it's an invert in the ocean, I'm into it. And more recently, I've even moved into the life phycological!
