Hello! I'm a RI-based naturalist. Currently, I’m in high school. I can often be found procrastinating here. I have an affinity for reptiles, amphibians, isopods, and native wildlife. I identify many of the observations from Rhode Island.

Herps are my strong suit; I've been studying them for several years (though I have no formal education in herpetology). Recently, I've been getting more into mycology, so I've been trying to identify some fungi observations. I ID a lot of observations in my home state of Rhode Island. I mainly identify North American wildlife and sealife, especially in the New England region and the eastern US. Currently, I'm trying to ID herps in other countries such as the Caribbean and Bermuda. If there are any mistakes, please inform me! I'm learning Spanish and Portuguese, but I'm by no means fluent. Please correct any grammatical errors I make. Thanks!

I often ID certain taxa such as Taricha, Anolis, Deirochelyinae, and Plestiodon to the genus/subfamily level. However, this doesn’t mean that it cannot be IDed past that. I’m still learning certain taxons, so please bear with me.

Feel free to tag me to ID your reptile observations and I’ll try my best. If you feel that my IDs are wrong (which may happen on occasion, especially with turtles and southeastern salamanders), please add a comment to the ID or send me a message.

If you'd like to use any of my photos, please send me a message. I'd be happy if you let me know what you'd be using it for.

I'm working to identify herps from all over the Caribbean. Currently, I'm identifying in: Honduran Bay Islands

I help curate the Rhode Island Shoreline Wildlife Project, which aims to document species found on the RI coastline. If you're interested in helping, you can join the project and add your observations. If you don't want me to add your observations to the project, please message me.

I also curate the Herps of Rhode Island Project, which records the reptile and amphibian observations from Rhode Island. Feel free to join!
