I am an Associate Professor of Entomology at Texas Tech University, Department of Plant and Soil Science, where I teach Introductory Entomology, IPM and Pesticides. My current research focuses on biodiversity, community structures, habitat and environmental stressors of Anthophila in Southern High Plains grasslands. I also have interests in hydroporine diving beetles of U.S. Interior Highlands. I know a sliver of taxonomy related to diving beetles and am on a steep learning curve in Anthophila, with a focus on bee specialists (Rophitinae) of bristly Nama.
