A prairie transplant from the east coast of Canada, I am currently completing my MSc at the University of Lethbridge in southern Alberta. My research explores the ecology and consequences of multiparasitism in the fathead minnow. Parasites are ubiquitous in nature, incredibly biodiverse, and super neat!

Learning the natural history of the grasses, legumes, forbs, and shrubs populating the prairie has become a rewarding pastime. Other taxa I enjoy documenting include freshwater fishes and benthic macroinvertebrates, wildflowers, lichens, and birds.
