I grew up in Minnesota, and after numerous freezing cold winters, I finally left for a warmer climate. With a huge passion of birding I ended up in Southeastern Arizona. With a BS degree in Resource Management I worked for the National Park Service for a few seasons. I shifted gears after a few years and worked as biological field technician for about 9 years steady, moving nomadically around Arizona, New Mexico, California, Idaho, Texas, Florida, and New Jersey. Mainly working with birds, but occasionally butterflies and herps as well. I love living in Arizona and exploring the incredibly diverse species rich state.
