Hi, I’m wildlife photographer and nature writer William Wise. Nature journaling and wildlife photography has been a favorite pastime since the ‘90s. I graduated from University of Georgia Warnell Forestry School's wildlife program in 1996. I'm currently an animal shelter manager and reside in Athens, Georgia, USA.

I am not an Okefenokee expert, but certainly an Okefenokee lover! It is within driving distance of my house and I try to visit at least once per year. Do you love the Okefenokee? Join the iNat Okefenokee Photography Project and follow the Okefenokee Photography Wordpress blog. If you have an Okefenokee blog post or journal, message me the URL through my iNat profile page and I’ll post it in this project.

I was saved in 1993 under a campus ministry while studying wildlife biology at the University of Georgia. My love of the outdoors quickly turned into a love for the Creator and His works. Creation Speaks is my teaching ministry that glorifies our Creator and teaches the truth of creation. William Wise Nature Notes is my wildlife and birding photo blog documenting the beauty, design and wonder of God’s creation. I am also a guest author at Lee's Birdwatching Adventures and The Creation Club. I sell stock pet and wildlife photos to support my creation ministry and pet adoption efforts. -- "What a wildly wonderful world, God! You made it all, with Wisdom at Your side, made earth overflow with your wonderful creations." Psalms 104, The Message.
